vbpPhotography specializes in personalized individual and group portrait sessions, as well as head shots, tailored to the individual needs of our clients.
Putting Our Clients First
Rather than pressing our subjects into a mold or a static set of poses, our portrait sessions involve getting to know our clients, moving about and assessing the location, talking through expectations, and finally taking photographs when the subject is no longer prone to thinking, "Can I even hold this pose until she snaps the photo?"
Pressure? A thing of the past when it comes to our business model. It is our experience that the essence of a person is best captured when guards are let down, nerves are calmed, and the focus of the time spent is not the camera, but the discourse between photographer and client. Be warned: laughter may erupt, and hijinks may ensue. It is all a part of making each session personal.
While we schedule a certain time block for these steps to occur, we remain flexible - always making sure that there is ample room at the end should the session run over.
